Development and change

There are two identical term in HR. One is organizational development and another is organizational change. I was so confused about both the term. Change is also development and vice-verse. After a lot study it has been clear to me. My understanding is that development means little change within the present process and change means the large change by using a time frame. Both have significant difference and application. For example: Development required if organization need to increase efficiency and effectiveness then development is a good tool. It helps to find the problems and provide the long run solution or fix the problem. Change is a extreme tools for development. It helps to find the opportunity within existing process and develop a new process to grab the opportunity by using a time frame. Both are time consuming. The planner and implementer should be a great team work.

Core of Business

Automated machine need a qualified & trained operator as well as maintainer for better operation. All rival can have same equipment but not same manpower. That's why only one is the market leader.

Design of HR related coursces

The design of HR related courses should be develop in a scientific manner. Because proper understanding of each course should be significant for generalist. If s/he aim to be specialist for individual wing then his or her education should be significant. So concentration of HR should be like MBA/BBA in Training & Development or in Industrial Relation or Social Compliance or Planning & Recruitment or Generalist etc. This strategy may help to develop more effective Human resource design for Organization.

HRM should be a science

HRM should be a natural science. Because it contains lots of other subject like philosophy, economics, statistics, physiology, and so on.  This understanding may be very common in nature. But it is very difficult to relate all those within the organizational frame. The competency or applied knowledge is vital issue to be a future of Human Resource. What should be the way for acquiring such knowledge?
